Tauro is a scale prototype demonstrator, used to evaluate the aerodynamic configuration selected for future unmanned vehicles within the HADA project of the National Institute of Aerospace Technology.

The aircraft reproduces the main functions of the final prototypes (the opening of the wings, main rotor and rear propulsion) so that the configuration can be tested in actual flight conditions.

SCR has completely designed and manufactured the structure and the mechanical and electric systems, to fulfil the technical requirements of the project having tested it in a real flight situation.

This has involved extensive use of CAD, the manufacturing of tools for wing composites, stabilizer, rear chassis and fuselage fairings and the use of the latestgeneration composites in these components.
