RCS-PHANTOM
As part of a study by RCS (Radar Cross Section) about aircrafts, a scale model of the Spanish Air Force F4 Phantom was built to be evaluated in the anechoic chamber of the Spanish National Institute for Aerospace Technology (INTA).
SCR was in charge of the manufacturing of an accurate scale model, reproducing the form as well as the main characteristics of the radar signature (engine intakes, cockpit, control surface slots...).
The model was manufactured in composites and later painted with special conductivity paint in order to simulate the radar signature with the one of the original structure, completely metallic.
